The City of Omro (population 3,600) seeks its next City Administrator!
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with the ability to support organizational effectiveness, enhance municipal operations, and advance community priorities that contribute to Omro’s long-term stability and quality of life. The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative leadership style, value transparency, and demonstrate practical, solution-oriented decision-making while working closely with elected officials, staff, and residents. This individual will be organized, responsive, and capable of managing day-to-day operations while also supporting long-term planning and community development efforts. The successful candidate will be engaged in the community—building trusted relationships with local businesses, civic organizations, regional partners, and residents. This individual will be visible, approachable, and invested in Omro’s future, representing the City with professionalism and integrity while supporting continued growth and strong municipal services.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated municipal management or administrative leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, personnel management, and municipal operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with elected officials, staff, and residents.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
